Jayla, the oldest daughter of Johnrico Smith, is a humble and caring young woman who has shown great strength and character. A recent graduate of Cedar Shoals High School, Jayla has decided to serve her country by enlisting in the National Guard, a decision that reflects her dedication to making a difference and her sense of duty. We were honored to present her with this year's Legacy Award Scholarship, recognizing not only her academic achievements but also her commitment to serving others. With her bright future and unwavering determination, Jayla is destined for success and will undoubtedly continue to inspire those around her.



 
 
 

Meiko is a driven and ambitious young man who will be attending Kennesaw State University this fall. Throughout high school, he demonstrated his diverse talents, playing both the French horn and guitar in the school band, as well as participating in football. Meiko's passion for music is clear, as he plans to pursue a career in the field industry. Beyond his musical and athletic abilities, Meiko is known for his strong sense of community and willingness to help whenever needed. He played an active role in this year’s community giveaway event, showcasing his commitment to giving back. With his dedication, work ethic, and heart for service, Meiko is sure to make a meaningful impact in both his career and the community.






 
 
 

Ayianna Peavy is a remarkable young woman with an inspiring future ahead. She will be attending Brenau University on a basketball scholarship, where she plans to pursue a nursing degree. During her time at North Oconee High School, Ayianna not only excelled academically as an honor roll student throughout her entire high school career, but also made mark on the court, reaching the 1,000-point milestone in basketball. Her dedication to both her education and athletics speaks to her strong work ethic, perseverance, and ambition. With such a bright future ahead, Ayianna is poised for great things in both her academic and athletic pursuits.
